This Cookie Policy explains how BixJet (operated by The Simplified Biz Inc, Dover, DE — "BixJet", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on bixjet.com, what each category does, and how you control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more broadly.
You can open the preferences panel at any time from the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page, or from the small cookie button in the bottom-left corner.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site recognise your browser on a later page or a later visit. We also use closely related technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels and software development kits — and for simplicity this policy refers to all of them as "cookies".
Cookies set by bixjet.com are first-party. Cookies set by another domain loaded through our pages are third-party. Cookies that expire when you close the browser are session cookies; those that survive are persistent cookies.
2. How we ask for your consent
On your first visit we show a consent banner. Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are set — analytics and marketing technologies are blocked from loading at all, not merely ignored. Nothing in the Functional, Analytics or Marketing categories runs unless you switch it on.
Your choice is recorded in a first-party cookie named bixjet_cookie_consent and kept for 12 months, after which we ask again. The record is per browser and per device, so a choice made in one browser does not carry to another. Changing your selection takes effect immediately; scripts that are switched off stop loading on the next page view, and you can clear anything already set through your browser settings.
3. Categories we use
Strictly necessary (always active)
These make the site function and cannot be switched off. They support page delivery and load balancing, protect forms against abuse, keep security protections in place, and remember the cookie choice you made so we do not ask again on every page. Because the site cannot operate without them, they are set on the basis of our legitimate interest rather than consent.
Functional
These remember choices you make so the site behaves the way you left it — for example the pricing region you selected (India, USA or Other), messages you have already dismissed, and interface preferences. Switching this category off does not break the site, but you may need to re-make those selections on each visit.
Analytics and performance
These help us understand which pages are read, how visitors move between them, which links are used and where something is broken or slow. This category includes BixJet website analytics (api.bixjet.com), our own first-party measurement script, which records page views, referrer, approximate location derived from IP address, and device and browser type. Reporting is reviewed in aggregate; we use it to decide what to improve, not to build advertising profiles.
Marketing and advertising
These let us measure the performance of our campaigns and show BixJet advertising on other platforms to people who have shown interest. They may be set by advertising partners through our pages and can be used to build a profile of your interests across sites. Turning this category off does not reduce the number of ads you see — only how relevant they are to you.

Third parties set their own cookies under their own policies. Where we add a new provider, this table and the preferences panel are updated before it is enabled.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of our banner, every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies — look under Settings, then Privacy and security. Blocking all cookies will stop parts of this site and most other sites from working correctly. Deleting cookies also removes your saved consent choice, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track signal. There is no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so we do not rely on it; we honour the choices you make in our preferences panel, and we recognise the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends one.
6. Your rights
EEA, UK and Switzerland. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, non-essential cookies are only set on the basis of your consent, which you give freely and may withdraw at any time through the preferences panel. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
California. BixJet does not sell personal information for money. Allowing Marketing cookies may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. Turning Marketing off — or using the Do Not Sell or Share My Info link in our footer — opts you out of that sharing. We do not knowingly process the personal information of anyone under 16.

7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our use of cookies changes or when the law requires it. The date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes to non-essential categories will reset your stored consent so you are asked again.
